    "Late on the evening of November 9, 2013, a rusty Swiss ambulance once used for evacuating overly daring mountain skiers to lowland hospitals now pulls up the stage entrance of the Deutsches Theater Göttingen. The musicians who stagger out have just performed at a jazz festival in southern Germany, then traveled 500 km on the Autobahn. At five to midnight, “Hildegard Lernt Fliegen” strolls onto the storied stage and looks out at the overcrowded balconies. A magical midnight musical feast begins."
